Safeguarding
The safety, dignity and wellbeing of every learner come first
Our commitment applies across school life and to every staff member, learner, volunteer, visitor and partner.
Our commitment
A safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment
St. Bruno affirms that every child and vulnerable adult has the right to respect, care, nurturing and protection from all forms of harm.
Guided by Christian values and respect for human dignity, the school works to prevent abuse, respond to concerns and ensure learners receive appropriate support.
Key safeguarding principles
- Zero tolerance for abuse, harassment and exploitation
- Special attention to children, refugees and learners with disabilities
- Immediate support and protection for anyone affected by abuse
- Respect, dignity and a safe learning environment for everyone
- Safeguarding awareness and responsibility among all staff
- Confidential and prompt handling of reported concerns
Reporting a concern
Report a safeguarding concern confidentially to the school administration or safeguarding focal person. Every report is treated seriously and handled promptly.
